Winter Donation Drive in Partnership with In My Father’s Kitchen

As the cold weather approaches, the Town of Van Buren is proud to partner with In My Father’s Kitchen to collect essential winter clothing for the homeless and those in need.


To make giving easier for residents, Abbott Farms and the Town of Lysander have joined the effort and are serving as additional drop-off locations. Please find additional information about the donation drive below.

Items Needed The Most:

Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used:

  • Winter coats (ski or water-resistant preferred)
  • Water-resistant gloves
  • New white socks
  • Hats and scarves
  • Hand warmers (for including in gloves during distribution)
  • New or gently used boots (men’s sizes 8½–12)

Drop-Off Locations:

Donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

  • Van Buren Town Hall – 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027
  • Lysander Town Hall – 8220 Loop Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027
  • Abbott Farms – 3275 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027
