Responsibilities of The Town Assessor Department
The Assessor’s Office is responsible for placing an equitable value on each parcel located in Van Buren. The Assessor is available by appointment throughout the year to discuss assessments. The functions of the Assessor’s Office include:

- Verify Sales Data
- Collect Data on New Construction
