Public Meeting: Local Waterfront Revitalization Project

The Town of Lysander, Town of Van Buren & Village of Baldwinsville and a Waterfront Advisory Committee composed of Town & Village residents is working together with the NYS Department of State and consulting firm Barton & Loguidice to develop the Joint Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) plan.

The Project Team will be hosting a public meeting at Baldwinsville Public Library on March 23, 2026 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. By participating in this meeting, residents and stakeholders will learn about the planning process and have an opportunity to provide suggestions for the use of waterfront properties and those which can be easily accessed from the the Towns’ & Village’s riverfront areas. More specifically, meeting attendees will be invited to share their ideas and provide input on potential waterfront policies and projects to help shape the draft Plan. Input received during the meeting will have a direct impact on the recommendations that will serve to shape our community.

The Towns’ & Village’s Joint LWRP is a planning document addressing community needs while providing clear direction for future waterfront development.
