Request for Proposals for the following project will be received by the Town of Van Buren, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, New York 13027, until 10:00 a.m. local time on July 8, 2026, then there at said office.
Canton Woods Senior Center HVAC
in the
TOWN OF VAN BUREN
ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK
The project encompasses replacement/installation of new HVAC equipment at the Canton Woods Senior Center. Copies of the Bid Documents can be obtained at the OFFICE OF THE TOWN CLERK at no charge.
Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished and must not be detached from the Bid Documents.
Packages containing the Bids must be sealed, marked and addressed to the Town Clerk, Town of Van Buren, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, New York 13027 and marked with the words “canton Woods HVAC.”
The Owner reserves the right to revise or amend the Bid Documents prior to the date set for opening Bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by Addenda. Any inquiries regarding the details on the project must be directed in writing to Town of Van Buren, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, New York 13027 [Telephone: (315) 635-3009/ Fax: (315) 635-8247], Attention: town Engineer. The Town also reserved the right to reject all Bids received when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
Pursuant to State law, the Town of Van Buren is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the state of New York on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Town under this contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the contractor and his subcontractors on materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Town under this contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or real property forming part of the project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid.
This contract is subject to compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing wage rates.
