Bicentennial of the Erie Canal Celebration Event
July 24 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Come celebrate with us! We will have a new Erie Canal sign unveiling promptly at 3 pm followed by a fun run to the Christopher Simpson Memorial Park located at 6514 Church St, Memphis, NY 13112. Then, continue with a celebration including special guests like the Town of Van Buren Town Board members, Town of Van Buren Historian Steven McMahon, and other Erie Canal partners. Enjoy a hamburger or hotdog and get your face painted.
